So I got my new phantom in today. I’ll start by saying I’m a heavier set guy 6’1 about 230 lbs. At first I didn’t think the saddle would be comfortable for me and boy I was wrong. I do have to get into saddle shape but once I got things right for most part I liked it now I got to order me some steps and a platform. I hope to shoot from it tomorrow and try out the shot angles. Only thing is that weak side shot I don’t know about. How are you guys going about taking that weak side shot and still holding pretty good form?

If you have a platform, stand up and taking your non bow hand, put it underneath your tether & bridge and turn 180+ degrees towards your bow hand. Example, I'm lefty so I take my right hand / arm, put it under where my tether hooks to my bridge and turn on my platform to the right. Your tether will now come over your shoulder and help provide support. Shot 2 deer this way last season.

I’ve been on the forum since about November soaking up all the info I could. It really is a great group of you guys every question I’ve asked had been answered without hesitation. I look forward to this coming season I got some off season pig killing I may start doing in some short CRP woods I think the saddle will make it a lot easier for me too get into the trees.
