My Deer hunt affected ??
I’m assuming there’s a bunch of members that have pets.
Do you allow your pets during off season in your truck that your going to be driving to your hunt.
Is your dog allowed scouting or setting cameras in the woods.
My gear is stored scent free in bags and totes in garage,
But my dog is in there with me when he’s outside.
My concerns are the hair and dander (everywhere) that my dog sheds will make its way to the woods per my gear.

I wouldnt even pay it a fraction of a second of worry. My clothes hung this year in my closet all fall right where my wife does her hair and such outside the walk in closet. We also have a cat.

I got busted by movement a few times this year or where i physically stepped. I really dont think you can beat that all the time. The only way is to have a great entry and the right wind.

I own an ozone machine, didnt even turn it on once this year on clothing. Can you imagine if they went insane every time they smelled a fox or a coyote, maybe a wet turkey, theyre not smart enough to reason, they simply react.

If deer smell pet odor on you they already picked up your human scent. You can’t cover up one odor and not worry about the rest. Deer have the ability to breakdown multiple scents at once. Only way to beat that is to do your best to watch where you walk and set up to avoid them getting downwind of you. Only thing I have found that works just about 100% of the time.
