How are you packing your platform up a tree? I currently have a paracord loop on my perch and a clip on the back of my saddle.

I've done it two ways, exactly how you do it by clipping it to the back of my sit drag and secondly, inside my pack. Either way works but I'm partial to hauling it up the tree in my back pack, partly because I have two sticks hanging on my sit drag so I'd rather have that 3 pound platform off the belt. Besides it is in my pack already so why not just keep it there till it's time to attach it to the tree?

I use a kydex hook on the back of my saddle and a paracord loop off the front of my platform. I pack the platform in on my pack and attach it to the saddle prior to climbing. Last year I brought it up on my pack, but it was a pita getting it off the pack. I would have to hang the pack to get at it, and then the pack was in the way trying to set the platform.

I have the Badlands Ultra Day pack, and use the straps on the bottom of the pack. I can reach the clasps with the pack on.

To get my platform out of the pack I simply slip one arm out of the strap, pull the platform out and slip my arm back in. Effortless.
