I don’t know if this should be in DIY forum or not but it fits here too I think. I came up with a platform solution that was easy, it’s light and works well. I was in the process of cutting down a set of LW sticks from 32” to 24”. I had 8 inches of stick left over and I thought “why couldn’t I just turn this into a mini stick, put a double step on it and use it for a platform.
It took literally 15 minutes. I only have the single step on it now double step is ordered. The plan is to have a double step on my top stick then throw this little stick beside it. I tested it out for a while on the telephone pole out in the yard with a single step and it works really well. Weighs about the same maybe a little more as a WE Stepp and snaps right on with the rest of my climbing sticks so it’s easy to carry in. Will be slightly heavier maybe when I change the step out.
