Poly climbing sticks?

I've never seen those but I was talking to my father in law a few weeks ago about coming up with a HDPE climbing stick. Looks like the idea is already taken haha. I'd like to give them a try

Everything is great about those sticks besides the weight. Still very tempting tho

That’s how it works!!!

I sent an email asking that question and if the weight included the buckles. Hopefully I hear back from them soon.
Yes that weight is per stick, and not counting strap, he said a lil over 10 lbs for all 4 with straps,I spoke with the owner yesterday, he said that they are working on another lighter one, but will still be right at the 2 lb Mark

I wonder how well they will hold in winter temps, my experience very few plastic anything holds up
their review video poorly demonstrates actual use, it will be interesting to see how they play out
anyone interested in them I see this morning they are on a black Friday sale

They advise that the material gets stronger as it gets colder. I have been debating on getting 1 to try and single stick climb. Currently use we with kn/sw method and thinking of another climbing method.

From the outside looking in, this is what I see. Those fixed (non-swiveling) stand-offs skeer me on crooked trees. Ladder Sticks are not much cheaper ($10) than LW sticks. Not much lighter, at advertised weight (2.35# no-straps LW 2.5#). Quite a bit shorter at 21". With a distance of 17 1/4" between 2 steps. Compared to LW's 15" between 3 steps with an overall height of 32"). 300# weight capacity for the LS's compared to LW's 350#. The plastic of the LS could possibly be quieter than the aluminum LW's before stealth strips. Does anybody know if these are USA made? btw, the only sticks that have piqued my interest over LW's are Dan's sticks. I feel there are enough improvements to justify stepping up, once my $ greens ups some.

I believe they are made in the USA. The link above had some responses from the manufacturer and worth the read IMO.
