How long before everyone started using saddles for there hunts to feel comfortable.

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

Practice before the Big Day

Did a week of shooting with the saddle from various tree heights before I did a 4 hour sit. I figured no better learning experience than out in the field. I felt totally comfortable setting up, but actually *being* comfortable that first 4 hours was a challenge. I've been on three other sits in my saddle and comfort has exponentially increased each time.

Took me 3 or 4 sits to get the hang of it.
When you first start it takes some time to get used to because it is so different than everything you are used to. Give it time and the more time you spend in the saddle the more comfortable you will feel.
