Anyone made a bracket with a modified platform that you can leave in a pre set tree similar to a Millennium receiver? I've got a cottonwood tree on river bottom ground here in Nebraska that is in a perfect pinch point between bedding on an island that needs a stand but I can't quite get my arms around it at hunting height. Yes, I could just put a hang-on there and leave it but I don't want to. I really enjoyed my first season in a saddle. Swinging a strap around every time is a pain (especially in the dark) so if I could just mount a bracket once and not fight it, that would be ideal. Can't really avoid it for my tether or LB, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad (might leave a tether in the tree too). Could just leave a strap attached to itself when I remove the platform but if I get clumsy and drop an end when I detach then I'm back to square 1. Hunting from a cheap diy platform now but planning on buying a predator or a RR very soon and swapping out the guidos web for a phantom on release day. I only hunt private ground and rely on presets 90% of the time.
