What are the pros and cons to leaving your climbing spurs on after locking into your bridge and tether and standing on your platform?

Aside from being a slight bit inconvenient to take on & off at hunting height there aren’t any benefits to leaving them on. It could create unwanted noise & I have a healthy fear of gaffing myself. I don’t want them on while maneuvering for shot.

Don’t know what your platform is but if your a leaner, spikes are gonna be in the way of where you’re feet are most comfortable

Too much potential for noise IMO. Some rare occasions I will leave one on so I can pivot around the tree without adding a step in addition to my platform. I don't do that often tho. You also risk sticking a spike in the side of your boot if you aren't careful.
