Has anyone tried this style of stringer that great plains traditional bows makes?
They have a video showing how to make a free standing one and my thought was those two posts could mount on the side of my workbench real easily.

I fail to see the point of this. A Selway Limbsaver costs less than $20 and works great of recurves and long bows. The rubber pads are much better than making something from paracord. If you can’t string it with the Limbsaver you’re over bowed anyway.
