Random question of the week 2.

Which mammal animal has the best life? (Wild only) how ever you want to qualify it.

Wild horse. Protected, decent life span, and full grow few predators. Like being a deer, except way less people wanna kill you.

Grizzly bear in N. America. Not many hunters/poachers, don't have to defend a pride only to be killed by a younger male like lions, no natural predators (other than humans), don't have to be afraid of anything....just steal picnic baskets and smack salmon out of the air if you're feeling frisky.

Most wild horses starve to death or die from broken legs/other injuries, and live less than 1/3rd the live span they would in captivityx

Honey Badger
Strong and tough. Can annihilate just about any challenger. Takes burrows from other animals. Can survive on just about any sustenance.

Few natural predators, so doesn’t get screwed with.

A bat. Only one that can fly. I’ll take being whatever bat has the most temperate climate, and sustainable food source.

I think people forget how hard it is to acquire protein in nature. Being any mammal over a couple pounds really puts you at a disadvantage. flight and being small seems to reduce the suffering.

I wouldn't mind being a dolphin.
One layer further: a Killer Whale. No substantial threats. Social life. Group hunting. Varied diet (fish and mammal). Change of scenery (annual migration). Complex communication. Decent lifespan. A badass look that strikes fear into all who see you.

Bald Eagle - apex predator, amazing view of the world from the air, migrates to change up the scenery - at least in some regions.
