Recurve in a saddle vs from a hang on

I run a short bridge (18”) and low tether, chest high when standing straight. With this set up it gives me plenty of string clearance and I naturally bend at the waist keeping better form. When hunting from a hang on I would lower my bow arm instead of bending at the waist throwing my form off and causing my shots to go high.

For strong side shots yes but where a hybrid set up or big platform like the mission helps for me is having the room to turn for a weak side shot rather than moving a 62" bow over the tether. Even running a low tether and short bridge, it is, imo, a lot more movement for deer to pick up taking the bow over the bridge rather than turning around. Thats obviously for standing shots, for sitting just have to remember to lean out like you are bending at the waist. Helps that issue @BLR1970 pointed out.

I've noticed that I have to be further away from the tree for the top limb to miss the tree, than with a vertically held compound bow. :) Shooting on the right side of the tree, I have to be further away for the bottom limb clearance. I don't cant the bow much, but I am aware of the bow's limb location at all times. ;)
