Rope for stick mods

I picked up some heliums and have been reading some posts on mods. I think the buckles are going to be a pain to keep quite.I think I'm going to order some versa buttons but I'm wondering what rope to use and where the best place to get it? Thanks

You can use muddy or hss lifeline. 8mm static rope or I've used nylon boat anchor rope.
