First Merry Christmas everyone. I have rope modded some sticks with 8mm rope. My problem is all the 8mm rope I can find is either bright colors or black. I am looking for some olive/tan or camo colored. Can someone point me where I can find the colors I am wanting?

I’ve been running sterling Oplux 8mm static line as my tether and lineman’s belt. I’m sure it could work for sticks, but it’s pricey.

I used 9mm sterling on my lone wolf sticks and it was just a touch to big I needed 8 mm.
It is expensive but it works really good minimal stretch.

This stuff looks like the ticket. Is there anywhere I can buy it by the foot.

@onestringer i have not found anyone who was willing to sell it by the foot. The only company I found who was willing to sell anything shorter than 100ft was attackopgear.com. I got 50ft, I am very happy with it!

Here’s a view of the tag end of my tether

Have you considered the amsteel daisy chain? I started using ropes about 5 years ago and the daisy chain is as much an upgrade from ropes as the ropes were from the straps.

I haven’t thought of that. I have a daisy chain I made for my platform. Didn’t like it for my platform. Will give it a try on my sticks
