What kind of rope do I need for tree tether and lineman belt? Where is a cheap place to get these and also a couple Ropeman 1’s?
 
I wouldn't use anything "Cheap". Pay for what you get, the question you have to ask is what is your life worth? You can start out with HSS Safety harness ropes, that's what Greg from G2 Outdoors started out with. I am using the same this year. I bought them from Sportsman guide. Be safe and enjoy the outdoors.

30’ with a 2” eye tied on one end. Came with a 28 kn biner and prussic as well. 42 bucks +shipping .
Enough for 3 lines.
