Ropeman 1 with 9mm samson htp

I did it and it worked. But it seemed to stuff over in the corner. The more I hung on it the more the decision went to " why am I doing this anyway". I really didn't feel safe.
FYI- The ropeman two is rated for 9mm.
 
Sorry meant sterling htp. Ive read where 9mm samson ultratech works. Im assuming htp 3/8" would
