I took some of these lessons to heart and scouted for 5 hours today. Covered a slow 6 miles and prepped 3 trees. I can't wait for September!!

Podcast has got me motivated to scout. Gonna head out this weekend to scout a new public area. The state has recently acquired 984 acres of land, previously a Federal quail sanctuary. It is bow only, no vehicle access. The greatest thing is it’s only 4 miles from my house. I’m sure that it will not be over pressured due to the fact around here public land hunters want ATV access most of the time. They don’t like walking in. Prime real-estate for saddle hunting

that is for people that have a smart phone. Me and those tiny computers do not get along. I prefer a desk top, laptop or a book that I can actually see.

One of the best pod cast on saddlehunter so far. On the binoculars they come in handy for pre season scouting. They are good for looking at the tops of mast trees in late July early August.
