I have a loaded pear tree in the yard of a old run down cabin. No one has lived in the cabin for 20 years and the yard is not maintained at all so waist high weeds everywhere. The pear tree is pretty close to the house and has a ton of sign under it. Would u guys hunt the yard or move into the woods and hunt where the expected travel is coming from.
 
Put a camera out it will let you know when their using it or just observe if you have time. It might be good hunting right in the yard if not pressured. You always have the best chance setting up as close to the bed as possible.
