I bought this Singer sewing machine with a homemade walnut stand, new extra motor and foot control for $50. I don't know much about old machines. It's a 66-6. He said it was built in 1929.20190222_192834.jpg
 
That's a great old machine. Only thing about it I don't like is no reverse but you can work around that. Good price on it too. Learn to use it and have fun making your own gear. Buy high quality thread and get your bobbin tension just right. There are a lot of great old machines out there once you start looking for them. I find them all the time now and have sold a few on here but the shipping is ridiculous
