What's the longest bow that you've shot from a saddle? I'm looking at buying a 64 inch Big Jim's Buffalo. But, only if its feasible from my saddle.

I agree with the treestand. I screwed the pooch on a dandy buck when the bottom limb hit the stand. Still hurts to think about it.

i shot my 64" Toelke SuperD out of mine last year. no issues. hell im even going to be shooting my new 67" northern mist bow out of mine this year

I hunt with a 68 inch yew self bow out of a saddle. I have no troubles doing this from a saddle. I have shot a 71 inch eastern red cedar self bow from a saddle too while practicing. I had no troubles with that either.

Saddles are probably the most forgiving for bow length. Gear clearance is not an issue because of bow length.
I will say that shooting style can play a roll in any type of stand. Canting the bow requires more space. It's why I shoot a vertical bow. I don't cant it.

I don’t find them super easy to shoot in a saddle. Not real difficult either. The only shot that I find easy is shooting straight back with my hips turned. If I can’t turn my hips it is difficult
