Just got a singer 8280 for free. I don’t know anything about sewing, will this machine punch through a few layers of webbing? Also what needle and thread do I need?
 
I know nothing about you machine, but if it will handle it I’d be looking at 21 needle on 92 thread. 18 needle on 69 thread at minimum. If research says you me machine will do bigger than 92 then great
