I haven't got into the workshop yet to make this but materials are on the way but here's a small platform I am going to try it will have a boxe section with a top standoff using the base as the bottome one, size is roughly 7-1/2"l x 8-1/2" w at it's widest and 1/2"d

I like how simple it is! Are you going to mill it out of a block or aluminum?

I have been playing in my head with the idea of something simple like this but with optional cable to make it a climber.

Yes i will mill it, I have ordered some offcuts that fit the size in theory i am thinking this will be better than cast, looking forward to the milling,regards wayne.
