Snake boots and sealskinz

I mostly hunt in swamp with some sojourns to the mountains. I just bought some Irish setter vaportrek snake boots. I have been reading that they do not stay waterproof for long.

I am thinking about buying some sealskinz (waterproof socks) for when this happens.

Anyone have experience with sealskinz keeping water off feet?

Yep. They work great, but they do tend to get skankie.
Mine are many years old and still work fine after lots of river trips.
They are great for eeking out some extra life of leaky boots.
