I have sweaty feet. I also hunt with snake boots. I have to wade thru at least a foot of water. The boots only seem to last a year or two and have a tendency to smell bad. I even use a boot dryer on them..which seems to shorten their life.Because I use a platform I also am looking for less bulk (rubber snake boots seem to be very bulky)
Any recommendations?

The LaCrosse Alpha snake boots dont seem any more bulky than the regular boot to me. For my leather snake boots, I shake a little baking soda in them every couple of hunts. One of those ozone totes might work too, never used one myself.

Easiest thing to do is quit wearing snake boots and watch where you step. I wear regular ole rubber boots (tingley aerolites lately) and haven't had an issue yet.
A whole bunch of the stuff I hunt is thick enough I cant see where I am stepping a lot of the time. Early season , I for sure am wearing snake boots.

I run into snakes all the time cause everywhere I hunt is a swamp. Rattlers, Mocs, timber rattler . It’s the one I don’t see that I’m worried about.

For me I have to just deal with the bulk, I’d rather have my lacrosse alphas on than to have regular boots and be deep in the woods with a snake bite. I drive with regular shoes and when I’m at the hunt site I’ll put my alphas on . When I get back to the truck the boots come off again. You could possibly put a fresh pair of socks on before the boots go on
