Snake Boots

The only ones I have owned are the Lacross snake boots. They have a waffle pattern on the interior that is supposed to make them air some, but I don't think it really made too much difference. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say. I need a new pair since the ones I have leak like a sieve, but they are 5 years or so old. I guess they are still snake proof though...haven't tried that out thankfully.

I have mucks and Danner pronghorns. The mucks are like being in a sauna which they would be since they’re rubber. They’re supposed to have some kinda cooling tech but I never noticed. My pronghorns even being all leather with the strike proof plate are cooler. How much I dunno but they are.

Snake skin has really become popular with the women folk, my wife has some ankle boots in this pattern but not the full knee highs. They don’t look very cool (looks or temp) to me. They don’t look very comfortable either. They are on clearance though, so now is the time to buy. I don’t think they’re bite proof, but maybe it’s the other snake’s skin that works to scare the snakes off that might have the mind to bite you.DC127E6D-87FF-4AFA-A92A-344E1607A29F.png

good price though

I have a pair of Rocky with zip up and they have held up really good for 7 years. I wear them from the first of September until mid November squirrel hunting and deer hunting. They are pretty light for 18" boots.

I have lacrosse snake boots. Been using them for 7-8 years. Really like them.
