Ok looking for a little advice...

First snow in KS and having a snow day tomorrow. Rifle season ended yesterday and I am thinking about trying some new spots on public I haven’t checked out in a awhile. Been hunting a co-workers land until now. His cows winter on the property so only get it for pre-thanksgiving.

Think the deer will even be moving with fresh snow today and the pressure and I mean a lot of pressure from rifle season?

What time should I go in?

Just look for tracks or what?

Any advice will be great!!

Should also note I already tagged my buck back in November. So going for some more meat for the freezer.

Yeah if it's just meat I would say tracks would be your best bet. Could even stalk down the tracks and maybe bump one up. If you see a bunch of crossing paths and wind permits setup. With the pressure easy accessed tracks may be night time travel. Probably have to push in a little to get day time activity. Or not haha. I went in during our gun season and bumped some maybe 150 yds from the parking lot. Wasn't expecting anything to be there, but I listened to them run for probably another 150 yds so they must've been the lookouts. Good luck
