Taking my 6 yr old out with her grandpa to drift for walleye this afternoon. She’s been begging to go for weeks! We’re at grandpas mercy because he has the boat (someday Dad will too lol). Looks to be perfect meat dragging weather.

Back at the camp. It was a bit rough for the girls and they started to turn a bit green. Tide went slack so we're soaking up some a/c. Hoping to have better luck this afternoon when the tide starts to drop. On a more positive note one of our buddies went out with his friend and caught a mess of shrimp, so we will be eating good regardless. Time to check the crab traps.

Ran our crab traps and a local put some out this morning in the same canal. He apparently didn't like us fishing there and emptied ours. Only two were left alone that were off the canal. I can't stand people like that.

Man I'm glad to see y'all had a great day of fishing. The three little girls kept us busy, but weren't super interested in fishing with the water being rough. So we spent the rest of the day entertaining them playing with crabs and kayaking and doing other things, but still had a good time. Sometimes fishing trips turn into more of a entertaining kids trip. That's okay I think we need those also. Looks like ya'll are going to have a good supper.
