Static VS Dynamic VS Predator For Tether Climbing With LW Seat

I've read where people are using dynamic rope as a tether. Is this useful, or just stick with the Samson Predator? I don't have a tether and looking for one. I will be climbing with a LW hand climber seat and using it as a platform. What would be better when using the tether for climbing, Ropeman1 or prusik or both? I'm using an Aerohunter Evolution saddle with adjustable prusik/opening with carabiner bridge.
 
For a tether I don't think it would make much difference static or dynamic. As far as the choice of Ropeman1 or Prusik, the rope man will be a lot easier to use but the prussic will be cheaper. The ropeman1 is rated for use with 10 to 13mm rope so if you plan to use a rope smaller the 10mm you should look for something designed for use with smaller diameter rope.
