Stealth stripping carabiners?

Anyone got pics of how they silenced their carabiners?
 
You can do stealth strips, but I have done both and prefer electric tape for biners. Easier to replace, easier to apply to small areas, and not as expensive.
 
I just work slowly to avoid making noise. I dont want material to come loose on mine and interfere with the locking mechanism.
 
Used left over stealth stip scraps to do a mini but haven't field tested it yet.
