I am waiting on the sewn accessories from Tethrd just like everyone else. Any ideas for a cheap temporary replacement until I get the sys hauler? I am scavenging a duffel strap as a back band, but I need something for my tether and pruners...going on a Mantis so molle loops are available.

Using the mesh bag that my rock climbing harness came in. Don’t know if you can buy it but it was laying around and connects well with a small carabiner

Did you lose the drawstring when you did that? I just got one of these in and like it but thought the same about the lining.
I can't remember exactly what I did off the top of my head but I didn't lose the drawstring. I might have cut the entire noise section below it.

I cut it all out. At first I did just the bottom but I still didn't like fighting with it so continued the rest of the way. Since it is behind me on the kestral, not being able to see it while trying to put my tether in was still annoying. I would say definitely try just doing the bottom first to see if that is enough for you

I think that's the same one I linked above. Only concern is size for storing the tether. Looks a little small but it'll do in a pinch
That is the one I am using on my sit drag until my tethrd gear comes in. It is small but I am able to put my Tethrd tree strap and an older HSS linesmans belt in it if I am overstuff.

Keep in mind you don’t have run out and purchase pouches to store everything on your saddle, especially if you’ve already purchased the SYS Haulers. I got tired of carrying gear on my saddle. I like to walk in wearing my saddle and the gear dragging my saddle down and slapping me in the butt got old. I started out storing LB, tether, gear hanger, pull rope, wicked tree saw and 4 Amerasteps with OCB buckle on my saddle. Heavy?.... yes. As time went on I reduced what I carried but often found I wish I had it handy. I’ve tried different bags attached with a carabiner on the side, still thought there could be something better. Now I’m trying a small bag, sorta like a fanny pack, that I keep in my pack with a diy paracord adjustable sling attached to it (doubles as a bow sling when not climbing) that I keep everything I need for the climb. I sling the pack over head and across my body and climb. You can move it behind you without issue or pull it to the front when you need to access it. Way easier to get to things directly in front of you rather than digging them out of a pouch on your backside and quieter too.

The SYS Haulers may change all this again as I may just pack the mantis and not wear it in, or I may detach the pouches and reattach before I climb, if the quick connect system works as advertised.

Thought I would throw that out there. Didn’t seem to make sense to have a ultra light saddle only to weight it down and bulk it up with gear. You could use some things you may already have to get the job done, even if temporary.
