I scouted a new 40 acre piece of public land this afternoon after scouting some of my other properties in the morning.
A mix of timber and marsh with a creek running through it. More marsh on the south and ag fields to the east and west and a mix of ag fields and more public land on the north across a road.
I found a lot of rubs in various places, mostly on the edges of the property but some on the interior marsh edges where it transitions to woods. Otherwise, a TON of other sign. You can't walk ten feet without seeing tracks, trails crisscrossing, dung, rubs...
A lot of nasty thick stuff to get through though. I paid my dues today.
