I am happy new Saddle Owner, Got it this morning.
Before I was using my old climbing and safety harnesses. Glad to be moving on.... They did help me learn how to go up and down the tree using a Lone Wolf hand climber, not with how the set up for a hunt.
Next I am going to be working on hight, and length of tether and getting comfortable, and safe in my saddle at almost ground level.

But I have 2 questions for now....
1) What are most of you guys doing with the extra Tether line once you are set up?
I was play around to look around the tree and the rope seemed to me moving to much which I could see scaring away a deer. And if theres wind I think that could also happen.

I got a Mantis, but I think this apply to other set up as well.
2) My saddle is adjustable, how are you guys dealing with the extra webbing? Main reason to make the setup look cleaner but also so that there is less moving parts when the time come to shooting a deer.
Thanks for any help that comes my way.

Welcome!

For question one, a simple daisy chain takes care of the extra tether line, then tuck the tail end in your belt. Another nice quiet tie-off are those pony-tail elastic loops with a ball on the end. They're quiet, cheap, and easy to find at a CVS or such.

For question two, I can't help you there. I'm still in the queue at Tethred waiting for my saddle. What was your turnaround time? I gather that production is speeding up now, so hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Good luck and have fun!

Tie a loop on the tag end of your tether and it goes in the carabiner

Put rubber bands around the webbing past the buckle. Like the loop on your belt castration bands come to mind.

Thanks I will try that.
Turn around was 6 weeks to the day.

I found this I will look more but this should work.

@vtaflyer And also my mantis is XL size. I read (on facebook maybe) that they got a lot in, they were shipping by size and first order, but if you order something else that is still on back order they are waiting to have all your gear to do a single shipment. if that is anything helpful. I email them and got a reply in less the 24 hour yesterday.
