I bought these on Kickstarter several months ago and just received them today. I think they would make a great tether.

Here's the link:

And here's some actual pics.

Also I looked into a daisy chain(same type sling Im guessing by the looks) and they guy demonstrated how you dont want to put any load on the individual loops as that stitching is weak link. He yanked real fast/hard and broke it. Otherwise I was going to go around the tree and back through the closest look and hook up since I run a low hook up and long bridge.

Yeah I'm not sure about that weight thing. Look at the link. The weights listed are much higher.

When I bought them the advertised strength was 800 lbs.

Not the same vid I watched before, but seems like a credible source.

I agree with the others about using daisy chains for this, they're not a good idea. I'm a little confused after reading the description though. Are they saying that this isn't like a daisy chain because its not stitched, its "nano weaved", whatever that actually means.

Oh your one of them smart guys he Red? I just look at the pictures. Lol

What's the point of a daisy chain if the loops are worthless?

We wouldn't be using them as fall protection and clearly not climbing above our anchor as indicated in a recent google search.

Hanging from a daisy isn't dangerous. Using it as a sole connection isn't done in climbing because you don't want it to catch a fall. If you clip into it the wrong way and take a big fall, you can have the failure they show in the video.
