Tethrd sys hauler vs hauler es

I am in the process of purchasing a tethrd saddle and I have not seen any reviews on the sys haulers.

What are you thoughts on the sys hauler vs the sys hauler es. Are the pockets on the side worth the extra $5 or is it more of an inconvenience being in the way.

If you didn't use a sys hauler what other attachments have you added that have been useful?

Thats funny, I have both on one of my saddles, and just outfitted the other saddle with 2 sys hauler es's. I like how my recliner and SBW fit in the pockets of one, the other side will fit my cell phone and a water bottle in the pockets. Really trying to eliminate a pack.

Folks speak very well of DanO's pouches, but I only have experience with Tethrd's Sys Hauler and the ES. I run one of each--Sys hauler on my left hip, which carries my tether to/from the tree and my linesman rope when I'm on stand; ES on my right hip, which carries the straps for my sticks and platform in the main pouch, my back band in one side pouch, and my pull-up rope in the other side pouch. I've found this setup to suit my needs well. If I was going to change it up, I'd probably switch out my Sys Hauler for another ES instead of the other way around. Hope this helps!

I have a sys hauler that’s a couple years old. I like it but ordered an es recently hoping to use the side pockets for my new oplux tether and linesman’s. I never liked carrying much on my saddle. The phantom and it’s adjustable bridge allowed me to carry more without it sagging. I was able to do away with a pack for preset hunts during the early season last year. Planning on the same thing this year.

Is your sys hauler one made in the US? Had a China made one and it crapped out on me pretty quick. How’s yours holding up?

I have several here that I’ve been using, both US and China made ones. I personally feel the China ones are better made myself but that’s a pretty small sample size.

I run an ES on my left hip that holds my saw and recliner in the extra pockets and a standard one on my right that holds my tether.

My regular sys hauler was American made and probably from the first run and is holding up fine. The es I haven’t attached to a saddle yet. The China ones I have seem better made and definitely look better than the old one does now but it’s been sat on slid down creek banks etc.
