I’ve decided to jump on the sling bandwagon. I tried a Wraptor sling and the two separate sections wasn’t comfortable. This one is a single piece of webbing like the Anderson and the Treehopper sling. I then added a Murphy touch based on his Recon revamp mods. I’m gonna give it a trial run at ground level of course. Thank you to @Bwhana, @Murph4028 for design ideas and everyone else who shared sewing and thread knowledge. Grabbed most of the materials from @DanO. Be honest, what do you guys think?

Looking good, simplicity is underrated! I bought those same rings, but sold them before I used them. I know others have used them and curious to see what you think of them too. I have not tried the @Murph4028 method for connecting the sections, but I do like mine linked with fleece, mesh, or incorporating the leg loops, as I have done on various versions, so that is a great solution as you two have done.

I did something similar to mine with some spare shock cord. Yours is much better. That's going to be pretty excellent IMO.

Those straps on the back make it tolerable to walk with. There was no way I would have wadded that sling up and put it in my pack on the walk in. I always wear my saddle to the tree.

I've got limited experience so far (only a year under my belt) but I feel the same way. In the early dawn hours, I'd rather not fiddle with putting my saddle on at the tree.

Took the ander-wrap-hopper-murph for a test sit this afternoon. This thing is amazingly comfortable! I can move the bottom section to meet comfort just like others have said about slings. I think I’ve found my saddle for the long haul!

It really does make a big difference. Walking is definitely easier
