The Truth About Gore-Tex

Ba$tard$! (Sorry Mods!!!) I always thought something was up when my Gote Tex hikers were as wet inside after a day of hunting as my rubber boots? Shameful of them! I wonder how much this has added to overall product pricing for each product incorporating this “technology”?

Gore-Tex leveraged the US government to impose higher tariffs on any outdoor shoe or boot imported into the US imported without a "waterproof" membrane. That's why you can't hardly buy an outdoor boot or shoe without Gore-Tex or other membrane in it.
