Was out scouting with my son yesterday and went to a few new spots trying to find a good ground hunting spot for him and I. This is a small 10 acre lot 24F1FB3C-7715-491D-9C14-C36A6A25A3AB.jpeg

Kind of hard to say since its such a small photo. Looks like it might be good especially if the surrounding areas have a lot of pressure and this 10 acres doesn't. I would remove the name of the river and the Humboldt County wording just to be on he safe side.

Looks ok depending on pressure. River bottoms always seem to have deer in farm country because of the unbroken cover. Corn, beans or neither in the field? The road seems pretty close which I don't necessarily like. If that's a power line right of way those edges can be pretty decent. Deer could be bedded there and walk to the field. Just unsure of how to get in and set up undetected. You'll have to play the wind and use your best judgement. Looks like there is some decent slope so that may help ya with the wind and sneaking in. When I was younger we would set up on similar areas in a pop up blind or just sitting against a tree on a ridge overlooking a good trail with the wind in our face or blowing across our location. Seems like a good North, Northeast, Northwest wind spot in the morning when your thermals are getting carried out of the river bottom. Good luck!

High ground ag, next to a sidehill on a river bottom, what’s not to like...you really should edit details out of the post though

Beans this year but they are picking them as we speak.

That's a good thing though! They're dry enough for the deer to like again if they're being picked. There's always some on the ground to attract them, assuming there isn't standing corn in an adjacent field. Worth a shot! Might be an overlooked area.
