I have a pair of scent-lok gloves that I like - but they don't work with my phone screen.

Last night I was on the edge of taking my glove off to operate my phone when a button buck quietly popped out of the woods behind me (he got a pass).

I researched a bit and found conductive thread DIYs and thread on Amazon, etc. Or a US Army-approved liquid that you can apply and dry for days. Or rivets or buttons you can put through the finger of your glove, but I'm lazy. I don't wanna order thread and wait. Or wait for days drying liquid on my gloves, etc.

Today at Wally World I noticed a coats & clark metallic decorative thread. Ran a quick test on my phone screen and it worked.

Got home and stitched up a finger, and now my fav. hunting gloves can operate my phone. Now to get them to work with the finger-print unlock...

Sharing in case anyone else feels inspired. Or tired of taking off their gloves.

Man this is a bright idea!

Great idea. I just cut my trigger finger off the scent lok. I have never liked having between my finger and the trigger of my release and rifle trigger.

That’s a great idea. I’ve got some gloves that work with touchscreens but that’s a simple way to make all of them work. I try to stay off of mine when hunting but know some that stay on them the whole time.

I have the same scentlok gloves. Mine wouldnt work either but i quickly found out that if you lick the touch screen material and wipe any excess spit off they work awesome. Sounds gross but it works lol
