has anyone customized the leg straps on there tree saddle so they can be adjusted snug? I'm a lineman and wear a fall restraint harness on a regular basis. Our safety guy stresses that leg straps be adjusted properly. If one should fall and be caught by a secondary lanyard, if leg straps are left loose they can end up in bad places and cause damage to certain areas during a fall... I think you get where in going with this. Could be bad news for big Jim and the twins. Just something I was thinking about.

I'm not certain they serve any purpose on a Trophyline.

Im sure you could cut them and use a sewing awl or machine to connect small buckles. I think most guys cut them off.

I never used the leg straps on my TL. I didn't cut them off, just let them hang.

You don't need them in my opinion. The way we work in trees compared to an arborist is very different.

I think they had to put them there to get TMA certified? They really serve no purpose on the tree saddle.
