I have been hunting out of a tree saddle for years, but I've been thinking about buying an aero Hunter what are the pros and cons to the aero Hunter?

They're very well built, and have a lot of adjustabilty so you can dial them in just right...
Veery comfortable...

Adjustability is the biggest difference. I've used my tree saddle once since I got an aero hunter.

Is the Aero hunter like a much more improved version of the Tree saddle?

The biggest improvement the aero hunter has on the tree saddle is it's adjustability. Besides that, lots of things are just done differently. Some better than the tree saddle, some not quite as good. The aero hunter was originally designed from a different perspective, an arborist's, and molded into what hunters need.

My only real critiques of the aero hunter are the amount of hardware on it, and the limited ways to effectively attach a pouch to it. I have found a way to attach a pouch, but it could be designed for it better. The hardware I have silenced with camo form.

Like I said earlier, I have used my tree saddle once since I got an aero hunter. I'm in my third season with the aero hunter now, I waited until the second version came out.

Personally, I would not buy a used tree saddle over a new aero hunter any day of the week.

That being said, I loved my tree saddle and it is what got me started in saddle hunting in the first place.

Thanks Red. Can you adjust the aero to decrease the pressure under the back of your thighs? That is the only thing I find to be uncomfortable about the TL. I also am not too fond of the elastic suspenders.

Yes, there is an adjuster on both sides so you can adjust each leg individually. A strap goes through your legs like on the tree saddle but is adjustable. This is one thing many people don't like about the aero hunter because it can be tricky to put on. It doesn't bother me, and I think that this adjustment is the most important comfort adjustment for the aero.
