Tree Tether

I'm going to purchase the tree tether from Tethrd folks but wondered if there is something I should do with the carbiner or my bridge to avoid the wear and tear from abrasion on the bridge of my Mantis? Or is this just be being paranoid?
 
Just being paranoid imo. Carabiner shouldn't do any damage for years to come.

Side note, I love that tether. I forgot my kestral tether in the woods one day, bought the tethrd in case I couldn't find it. Found it, but sticking with the tethrd. Love the spliced eyes and ropeman -way less bulk and ease of use
