Have never seen one, other than pics. Curious in regards to size and how it works in terms of bridge system. Seems like they had shoulder and leg straps that folks cut off. Those who had/have them, curious your thoughts on it. Possible to make one?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Trophyline is why I now own a Kestrel and also why I no longer own a TL.
The TL allowed me to see all the possibilities and benefits of a saddle, but man it sucked IMO. It was like an 8-track and my Kestrel is like an Ipod. Absolutely no comparison.
 
In terms of the bridge system, the strap is tightened for your walk in and climb. Once at hinting height, hang tether, loosen the belt around your waist until is is split evenly creating a double layer strap, that is your fixed length bridge. Tether height adjustments may need to be made for it to be perfect. But I’ve sat in just about every saddle out there and TL to is the most comfortable. But we all will have differing opinions on comfort and saddles.

I didn’t like my ambush. Some people remove the shoulder straps. Some add a set of tool belt suspenders for better functionality if they wear the saddle while walking. Maybe I should have tried a smaller size but from my experience with the ambush I would probably not stick with saddle hunting.
