Welp,

I'd rather be posting happy thoughts in my EZV review, but instead, here we are.

I got all set up to fling 30-40 arrows this morning. On my first draw, I thought I bumped the trigger prematurely, because I sent an arrow into the dirt in front of the target. No harm I thought, Pre-coffee shooting at its finest. I knocked another arrow, paid close attention, and drew back. This time I made it to about 75% of draw, and the release let go. It buried a FMJ about 2-3" into a pecan tree 15' behind the target. Surely I couldn't have done that twice I thought. So my slow, slow Cajun brain decided to knock another arrow. I got 5' from the target and made sure to have it squared up as I drew. Release opened at about 50% of the draw cycle.

Look, I know it's not the nicest release, but 100 bucks at cabela's should at least get me into one that closes and doesn't release prematurely. I haven't found any sort of instructions, or adjustments I can make. But it will be going back for sure.

Anyone else shoot this release and have any issues?

I had one that did the same thing they come at the lowest tension setting just tighten the tension screw to find the best tension for you. I use 550 cord to test so I don't keep launching arrows premature.
