Just looked it up. I'd be interested in your review after you get it. Looks like something I could incorporate into my plans.

I think it would be great for hiking and just joy riding but adding gear to use for fishing or hunting would make it unstable and hurt its performance.

Well I’m going to find out... has to be better than a blow up raft I was using last year. My setup is very minimal so I don’t it will be too bad carrying gear.

Update:
So I used this kayak last year to do some bow hunting where access was purely by water. This thing worked great! It held me, my bow, a climber and my bag. Now it wasn’t a boat but for what you get and the pack ability of it...it’s worth it. One big downside is, if it’s cold you better put it in your truck to warm up before putting it together. It gets stiff and a hard to fold if it’s cold, it packs small enough to put in a car. Also you will get water in it getting in and out so make whatever you want to stay dry is to the top.

I think you need to show it loaded down with all your hunting gear for people to appreciate it. I was thinking about getting one as a beer drinking River kayak.

I do still recommend it as long as you keep in mind it is not a solid kayak. If you are paddling next to someone who has a real kayak you will have to paddle twice as hard to keep up. I also had a buddy get one and returned it because he hated it. I personally love it; it gets the job done and holds me and my gear. I do not sit down in it and paddle on my knees only with all my gear in front. Having the option of throwing it in the back of my truck with loads of other gear and not needing a trailer is amazing.
