Curious as to everyone’s experience with SD card performance in cell cams.
I run several Tactacam Reveals and have just used the Sandisk 32g 10-Speed U1 cards for the past couple of years without issues, but I know they recommend the U3 cards.
Does anyone have experience with both card types? Any true disadvantage for using the U1 card? Or can explain it to me like I’m a 5-year old what I’m missing by not upgrading cards?

I cant help you, but im glad you asked the question. Im also curious, and eager to hear some responses.

U3 is just faster. Always check your cameras specs and recommendations before buying new cards. In the process of rebooting some of my older cams and its a fight trying to figure out which cards can be used in each camera. Ive taken to marking on each camera what cards to use

Have you done any direct comparison between U3 and U1 in the cameras?
