I work for a college in foodservice management, my boss just informed me the college will be 100% online learning for the fall semester. I hunt Maryland and PA, my question is, knowing this, how much time would you spend hunting buck/doe on public in maryland, buck on private in PA and sika in maryland. Also have a boat to catch catfish and stripers. I'm thinking All of Sept. In md, chasing whitetail, and rockfish, rockfish and whitetail in early October, pheasant in pa and sika in MD mid october, back to hardcore rut hunting in private PA Halloween to november 12th. Sort the rest out as it comes.

I'm excited for the fall.

Sounds like you have a good plan already. And hopefully you will find some work in December or January, after the season.

I guess it would depend on the private lands terrain and deer herd. If i knew it had something I was looking for, or potential to funnel quality deer in, that might be my priority. If not, then maybe hit public. Figure out some funnels or where the does bed/feed and you may be in the money!

Make the best of it. I had a fall like that one time. By mid November all dreams of hunting for a living were gone. Don’t get burned out before the best part of the season gets here.
Yeah, slightly worried about that, I'm not officially laid off yet, and my company may decide to send me to a different spot. I'm just trying to see the silver lining.
