I've only hit 2 deer with my bow. Here are the photos of the heads....hopefully I'm not the only 1 that saves them....let's see what u got

100gr swacker. Broadside hit on a doe from 18-20 yds off the ground. I thought it was a good vital hit. Arrow had 5-6 inches blood up the shaft. No recovery for this deer. Broadhead blades could be replaced and it still be good but I had another 1 bend at the ferrule after shooting an armadillo and I've since stopped shooting mechanical broadheads

Dirtnap single bevel 125gr. This head entered a doe behind the last rib and exited out the throat on an extreme quartering away shot. Deer ran 20yds and fell over and expired. Clean pass through and stuck in the mud. Bleeder blade damage and some main blade damage but could be filed and resharpened to kill again.

Hopefully I'll have some more to show u guys in the next couple months

That puzzles me. Why have bleeders on a single bevel?
And that Shwacker crap...it's worth more as scrap that it was when it was brand new.

Nor sure why they made them with bleeder....I still got 2 of the dirtnap I got in lineup. Kinda like i said in the other thread....in hindsight I wish I would have bit the bullet and got nice broadheads to begin with and I wouldn't have had any issues

Got any pics to contribute?

Ha, my pics would look identical to pics of brand new Samurai single bevel 150 grain. They show absolutely no evidence that they killed the deer on my wall and my freezer.
I hope to post pics of the 200 grain Samurai that I've switched to this year. I went full Ashby. 660 grain 28% foc.

And I would shoot those Dirtnap without the bleeders.

100 gr Executioner COC, not through an animal but a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood then into a chain link fence post. And a 3 blade Muzzy that met the same fate.

I'd have to disassemble again to see if the bleeder is required for assembly....

So chalk 1 up for grizzlystik samurai....no damage at all? I've looked at them before but the aluminium ferrule made me think twice

I've shot a few dirtnaps over the years. Everytime I look at a dirtnap it always feels like a cheaper ripoff of the solid broadheads. Almost identical design with the difference being dirtnap started putting out single bevel versions of the double bevel copy. There's nothing wrong with the dirtnaps, they do work. I've seen them pass through a pig w/ lighted nock like a lightsaber.

Here's a pic of my kudu points before I temporarily donated them to one of my brothers. I had six of them, first one on the far left was a practice head. One of the other five killed two deer last year. At a glance you couldn't tell which one it was out of the five (after a cleaning and a quick touch up). I wish I had a fresh picture of it after it was used.

Here's a Woodsman that has actually shot 2 deer last year. The tip has a little deformity that needs filed out. I shot it out of a 70lb. Mathews and blew through the shoulder on the second deer.

Only a little edge damage from hitting rocks in the ground after the pass thru. But full disclosure...I never hit heavy bone on the entrance side. I have it the FAR shoulder on quartering away shots and had no damage to the head, but I also did not punch thru the far shoulder...that was with my old set up...52# recurve, 545 grain, 17% foc. My new rig is 55# recurve, fast flight, ~660 grain, 28% foc.
I can tell that this new rig is hitting a lot harder that the old rig.
The old one worked okay but I want an exit wound if I hit that far shoulder.

Grizzlystik broadhead, this specific one has killed two deer. First deer the broadhead punched threw the thin part of the frontside shoulder, full broadhead passthrough arrows snapped in half when she took off. Second deer with this broadhead was the spike, shot at 5-6 yards went threw some bone on the near side and lodged in the offside shoulder. The broad head still looks brand new. Absolutely no damage and i wouldn’t hesitate to use it again. All shot out of a 45# centaur longbow.868FDB56-352D-4C3E-84C9-DA1D9212DC48.png2E03D00C-F17A-4DA4-8100-AECD45197EA5.png

Not much to show. Head on the right is brand new, and the one on the left shows a little edge damage to the left side.
Would I shoot these style heads at a cape buffalo? Nope.
But I feel confident that they are durable for whitetails and recurves...but the used edge does need sharpened

Simmons safari. Killed 4 deer with this head last season. 1 broadside, 1 slight quartering to, 1 hard quartering away, and 1 full frontal in above brisket out behind the last rib. Shot this head into foam dozens of times and through my wooden fence once or twice. Pinned a squirrel to a tree with it and dug it out of the tree with my pocket knife, sharpened it and put it right back on my #1 arrow in the quiver. IMG_20200730_180900.jpg

But I feel confident that they are fine for whitetails and recurves.
