Using the stock guidos web tether....mistake?

Lots of people talk about being able to walk around tree etc. This seems impossible for me using stock tether on GW. Am i missing something here? Very difficult to shoot to offside and not really that close to the flexibility of being able to walk even halfway around the tree without being restricted by tether.
 
Make your own our of 13mm static. I personally never liked the bridge and quickly replaced it with a web runner and the tether that I made...from then on it was smooth sailing. I will try and make a video tonight about how I did it so you can see.

I find it hard to move around a large tree without moving my tether or lengthening my tether or lengthening my bridge. I have a prussic on my bridge which I can lengthen without much movement. The prussic seems to lengthen when under pressure but it is hard to shorten. I do that on a kestrel but I am sure it would work on a GW.
If you have a ropeman on your tether... if it is a rope tether you can extend it and move around a tree.

All this involves using a rope bridge and tether. I never did like all the webbing on a guidos web but I love the web.

that would be great no hurry but i am trying to continue tweaking. thanks
