My LW sticks are on the tree and I'm putting brummel splices on lengths of amsteel to replace the original buckles. Two quick questions.
1. Does anyone have the diameter specs of the versa button so I'll know how big to make the loops?
2. Any thoughts on how long to make these? I'm guessing from memory that the original straps are something like 70" long? I'm gonna go longer, but didn't want to get carried away.

1.75 is the button

I made mine about 2.25-2.5, gives enough room so it’s not too tight going on and off.

I believe the Versa straps are set at 2.5 inch also
