Does anybody wash their saddle? Hunting in the wary season is hot and I’m a sweater. I wash all my hunting clothes on gentle cycle and hang out side to dry. Can you wash your saddle? Thanks

I would contact the manufacturer and see what they recommend. I definitely wouldn't put it in a machine.

I wash mine. I don't understand not washing it. It's not like it's going to fall apart from it. It's high strength webbing with high strength stitching....a little tumble in some water and sport wash won't kill it. If you're concerned about a machine then hand wash it in a bucket. I always hang dry in the shade as well.

I throw my saddle in a bucket or cooler with unscented detergent and hand agitate and soak over a couple hrs

Then rinse and fill cooler or bucket with fresh water and baking soda

Let it marinate and occasionally and agitate over a couple hrs

Rinse and hang to dry

Another option that is simpler is to use my front load washer after putting saddle, pack, etc in a mesh laundry bag

I run it on low speed and extra rinse

Can do a quick baking soda mix bucket dip before hanging to dry

Thanks guy. Thought about it for a while but didn’t know the best method. I think I’ll hand wash with some scent free detergent and let hang
