WE ropes as aiders

Wanting to use some WE rope as aiders. Should it be spliced like amsteel? I think I’m going to end up with a couple of continuous loops, but can’t find any info for that application.

This is for using with one stick climbing.

Yep splice just like amsteel. I made one for my muddy pro 1-stick. I thread it though the steps and over the standoff and then turned it into a continuous loop. I also had cut a piece of it off and inserted into the section I would step to make it a little stiffer when stepping in.
